Documentary-Advertising for Crete in Japan
The technical work of the Japanese filming crew found in Crete to film a documentary about the customs, tradition and history of the island, which will be screened in April on Japanese TV, was completed.
The staff began its audiovisual tour the day of the Epiphany celebration from Agios Nikolaos, filming the sanctification of the waters of the lake.
On the next day they were found in the hinterland of Lassithi, filming shots of traditions that remain alive on the day of Agios Ioannis the Baptist.
The crew of the Japanese TV channel was found as well in the markets of Heraklion, Chania and Rethymnon, filming traditional shops and tavernas, and also recording traditional recipes.
The documentary focuses on the everyday life of the Cretans and aims to advertise the island through its tradition and culture.
