As officially announced by the Forest Service of Chania, visitors of Samaria Gorge were more this October than last year.

In particular,

October 2014 (until 22/10)

  • Visitors from Xiloskalo: 13.981
  • Visitors from Agia Roumeli: 1.865
  • Visitors in total: 15.846 (+7,15%)

From October 23 to October 31, Samaria Gorge was closed, due to bad weather.
