The villa is 150m², distributed in two levels: the kitchen, the living room, office and a bathroom are in the first level, while the three (3) bedrooms and a second bathroom are in the second level.
The villa can accomodate up to 6 persons and is air conditioned throughout. An elegantly decorated lounge with fireplace and a completely equipped kitchen are also at the tenant's disposal.

The villa is situated in a village, which encloses the pure Cretan culture. Its altitude is 451 meters and is characterized by the Architectural Council as ''appreciable settlement''. It offers, amazing views of the mountains and the sea.

Location:

Melidoni is built in the root of the White Mountains in an altitude of 451m. Therefore visitors enjoy endless views The visitor enjoys the gulf of Souda, the province of Apokorona and the White Mountains at the same time!

In the fields of Melidoni, the brothers Giorgis and Sifis Manoysakas or "Red" (because their skin had turned red from the sun) arrived from Imbros, (small village in Sfakia), in order to graze their sheeps and enjoy their summertime, somewhere in the 1700's. This was repeated for several summertimes, since the place was better, compared to the poor earth of Imbros. After several years, shepherds from Sfakia start living permanently there and they created a village there, also known as Melidoni.

Melidoni is a small traditional settlement in an altitude of 410m enjoying open panoramic views of the Cretan Sea and the peaks of the White Mountains. The village is surrounded by rich vegetation, and the original Cretan Life is still present. In the small tavern/kafenio one can have a chat with the locals and daily shopping can be done in the villages of Vamos or Vrysses an approx. 10km drive away.
