From April until the end of October there are a number of charter airlines flying from most major cities in Europe direct to Iraklio, Crete. Visitors to Crete will be pleased to know that Olympic Airways have now started regular Monday, Wednesday and Saturday flights from Athens to the newly extended airport at Sitia.
