The old olive mill is a privately owned villa situated on the West coast on the island of Crete. This exclusive vacation property can accomodate up to ten people, and has its own private pool. Only 25 minutes from the town of Hania, and 40 minutes from Hania airport, it is nevertheless secluded from the bustle of the resorts.
It surely offers exceptional accommodation in a beautifully restored Venetian building, combining 21st Century comfort with the original olive mill features.

The living area at the mill comprises a sitting area, snug, dining area and kitchen, positioned around the original Venetian millstones.
The dining area can accommodate twelve guests, and there are also facilities for young children.
The mill has a fully equipped kitchen complete with American style fridge/freezer and integral ice making facility and microwave.
The mill is equipped with an oil fired central heating system, providing effective background heating during the cooler months of the Low Season between November and March.

The mill has two triple en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, as well as one twin en-suite bedroom and one double bedroom on the mezzanine floor.
The beds are purpose made and of traditional Cretan design, perfectly complying to the general aesthetics of the property.
The double bedroom on the mezzanine floor has its own private terrace with stunning, panoramic views of the Bay of Chania.
There one can enjoy a cup of coffee, while feeling the calmness and tranquility the location offers generously!

Morover, the house benefits from a well organised library, which includes maps, reference books and guide. In addition, there are files entitled Places of Interest and Things to Do, organised by the owner.
There is also a utility room, which comes equipped with a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board.

The mill has its own private garden to the rear of the property from which is accessed the terraced swimming pool (9.5m x 5.0m) with sun-loungers and parasols. The depths vary from about 1.4m to 2.2m.
There is also a small adjacent 60cm deep paddling area for use by children !
