Finikas (or Phoenix) is a small harbor in province Sfakia, located 83km south of Chania city, about 700m west of Loutro in the wider area of Livaniana village. It is named after the ancient town of Phoenix, ruins of which are still found near Loutro and was the port of ancient Anopolis.

Inside the port of Finikas a beautiful beach with pebbles is formed, relatively organized with umbrellas and canoes. From here there are boat trips to and from Loutro and Marmara at reasonable prices. Right on the beach there is a picturesque tavern and several rooms where one can enjoy the tranquility of the area.
