The propertys layout is U-shaped with the lovely “Avli” as centre and meeting point. The left wing of the property consists of inner space including old traditional kitchen with stove and an additional smaller space; this part is currently used as a studio but can be easily used as separate guest house.

The right wing is entered downstairs via a few steps into the air-conditioned kitchen/dining area and trough a “Kamara” (arch) into the living room where youll find a “Pezouli” (stone built sofa) and one (1) bedroom.

Wooden stairs are taking you then up onto the “Ontas” (Turkish “upper floor”) which comprises of another air-conditioned lounge, small office and TV room, and covered balcony from where you also can reach the “Avli” directly by using the external stair. Location

The village is located in between the villages of Vamos and Georgioupolis on the Drapano Peninsula, close to the north coast of the island, in the Apokoronas region. It is a very small, quiet rural village with many older homes and plenty of traditional Cretan charm plus views of the Cretan White Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. There is a kafenio but all services are available in nearby Vamos.
