Location
Nippos is located in one of the most "virgin" areas of Apokoronas, with green nature, next to the Lefka Ori (White Mountains), with a beautiful village square and lots of nice taverns. The village is in the islands north-western side, in the Province of Chania, between sea and mountains in area immersed in cypresses and olive-tree, while its inhabitants are mostly farmers and shepherds. In Nippos there are a few churches, one of which is quite large (with a dome and two towers), a war at a square where everyone parks his car and there is a fairly popular tavern called “Ippokorona”. The village is located 8km from Vamos and 1km far from Vrysses. In the village Vrysses you will find supermarket, bakery, bank, taverns and cafes. The nearest beach is Georgioupolis in 5km.
