Location

It is set at the edge of a traditional and friendly agricultural village, with panoramic views of the unspoilt Cretan environment and the highest mountain of Crete, the Psiloritis.

The village remained traditional with many old houses, cafeteria, tavern, some mini-markets, and a junior school and new buildings at the outskirts are showing the growing interest in this area.

Close by are the popular villages of Bali (5km) and Panormo (3km) with its several beaches. The nearest town is Perama which has all local amenities including a large supermarket and banks. The village is situated near the National Highway giving easy and quick access to the town of Rethymno (25km) and the international airport of Iraklion, a 55min drive away
