Entering the main house one faces the spacious living area with fireplace, the kitchen with nice wardrobes and cookie and balconies that brighten the property.

Via an internal marble staircase one reaches the first floor where are three (3) bedrooms with wardrobes, while at the master bedroom there is an en-suite bathroom. Furthermore one finds here one (1) full bathroom, and balconies all around the floor allowing wonderful views to the Souda Bay.

Please note that the main house and the guesthouse, are both provided with central heating, solar system, air condition and parking space.

 

Korakies which is on the Akrotiri peninsula, nearby there are shops, bars, tavernas, private foreign school, banks, and supermarkets. The beautiful and historic city of Chania is only a 10 minute drive away.

The municipality of Akrotiri is located northwestern of the city of Chania and consists of the communities of Kounoupidiana, Aroni, Mouzouras, Sternes and Chordaki. Exceptionally interesting are the big monasteries of Agia Triada, Tsagarolon, Gouverneto which is also known as the monastery of Saint John the Hermit, of Timiou Prodromou in Korakies and Saint John the merciful.

Near the Gouverneto monastery lies the abandoned monastery complex of Katholikou, built in the bottom of a wild gorge. In the area Profitis Ilias, there are the Eleytherios and Sofokles Venizelos Graves while Kounoupidiana is where the Technical University of Crete is located. In Kampani of Kounoupidiana you can visit the National Shooting Range of Chania and in Mouzouras the Chania Airport "Ioannis Daskalogiannis".

The municipality of Akrotiri offers many popular beaches like Kalathas, Tersanas, Stayros, Machairida, Marathi, Loutraki and Agios Onoufrios. It also offers a magnificent view of the city and the bay of Chania.
