Voula is a southern suburb of Athens, 16 km south of the city centre. It is located on the Saronic Gulf coast, at the southwestern foot of the Hymettus mountain. Adjacent coast towns are Glyfada to the northwest and Vouliagmeni to the south.

Just two miles south of Glyfada lies Voula, home to two amazing organised beaches and the Riviera’s biggest beach clubs. Enjoy during the day a colourful summer setting that brings to mind a real amusement park with modern beach bars, jet ski equipment, beach volleyball courts, a vibrant dance deck and exciting waterslides, whereas at night you can enjoy a cocktail in one of the district’s elegant clubs!

Voula A’ beach has been awarded a blue flag this year, which makes it ideal (and safe!) for families as well. On Voula B’ beach disabled people can also enjoy a swim thanks to the special infrastructure that has been installed on the beach.

Voula was a seaside neighborhood of small houses and cottages with gardens and a little downtown area. Those houses have pretty much all been replaced by 5 story apartment buildings and the downtown area has spread out and offers several blocks of shops, cafes and restaurants with a Southern California atmosphere and very few tourists. Cross Possidonos Avenue and there is a pay beach with the usual Greek beach amenities(changing cabanas, rental sun beds and umbrellas, snack bars and loud music) and some other areas where you can swim for free.
